WAVELENGTH REEF CRUISES - FULL DAY OUTER REEF SNORKELLING TOUR

WAVELENGTH REEF CRUISES - FULL DAY OUTER REEF SNORKELLING TOUR

We are a small group outer reef tour dedicated to reef education. Snorkelling only at 3 different reef locations during the day. We are passionate about the reef. Experienced marine biologists give guided snorkel tours and reef talks.
For nearly 30 years, Wavelength has been dedicated to snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef. In keeping with our core philosophy of low impact tourism, our small group ensure personal and friendly service and the best possible wildlife viewing opportunities for each guest. This is an intimate, genuine and close to nature reef experience.
You'll visit three different outer reef sites chosen by the skipper on the day from our wide selection of exclusive outer reef moorings. The weather visibility and tides all influence the destinations - with the aim to show you the best reef, and the diversity of reef types.
Our sites have been chosen for the quality of the coral and the specific needs of snorkellers, not scuba divers. Snorkelling is the perfect way to see the reef allowing maximum freedom to swim at your own pace where you want. Coral needs sunlight to grow to 90% of all living matter on the reef is in the top 10m.
Reef talks are not an add-on. At Wavelength we're passionate about marine biology and helping visitors learn more about the wonders of the reef. We've always focused on small groups with a high level of interpretation. It makes the day more rewarding and more fun.
Wavelength is one the original pioneers of ecotourism and co-founders of the "Eye on the Reef" program, one of the largest community based coral reef health monitoring systems in
the world today.
