The Whitsundays consists of 74 islands - only eight of which are inhabited. They are surrounded by one of the world's seven natural wonders, the Great Barrier Reef. This magic region will have you spellbound - pristine beaches, lush rainforests and dazzling waterways, in fact there are so many reasons why the Whitsundays is known as one of the greatest aquatic playgrounds on earth. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park is the largest, most complex and diverse coral reef system in the world. It is made up of coral reefs, coral cays and islands, stretching along the Queensland coast from Cape York to Bundaberg. The Marine Park also includes seagrass, mangroves, sand, algal and sponge gardens, inter-reefal communities and other habitats, and many rare and endangered species. This underwater world makes for the best exploring above and below the water. Whether you choose to bush walk, scuba dive or sail, there are a myriad of ways to explore the Whitsundays. Snorkel at Blue Pearl Bay where you will discover some of most amazing coral reefs and tropical fish in the Whitsundays. Dive the outer reef and explore the amazing coral. Walk along Whitehaven Beach's silica sand or kayak in turtle breeding grounds where you are sure to see one pop up. Checkin: We recommend that you arrive at least the day prior to you departure day for a safety briefing at ABC Travel before 5:00pm to speed the checkin process up on the day of travel.

Reel Addiction is a six metre centre console, sports fishing boat that will specialise in fishing around the Inner Whitsunday Islands such as the Molle Group, Daydream, Double Cones, Gumbrel and Grassy Island.

On Tour 2 you will be targeting species such as Coral Trout, Sweet Lip Emperor, Cod, Spanish Mackeral and Trevally.

• 0715-0730am- Depart Abel Point Marina (Airlie Beach)
• 0800-1130am- Fish a number of locations around the Whitsunday Islands (exact locations will vary daily due to wind direction and speed, tides and targeted species)
• 1200pm-Arrive at Abel Point Marina
• 1200-1230pm- Courtesy drop off to your accommodation

Afternoon Departure

• 1230-1pm- Courtesy pick up from accommodation (exact time will be advised on booking)
• 1:00pm- Depart Abel Point Marina (Airlie Beach)
• 1:30pm-5:00pm- Fish a number of locations around the Whitsunday Islands (exact locations will vary daily due to wind direction and speed, tides and targeted species)
• 5:30pm-Arrive at Abel Point Marina
• 5:30-6:00pm- Courtesy drop off to your accommodation

Departures:

We operate half day fishing charters 7 days a week from Abel Point Marina (Airlie Beach)

We provide courtesy pick-ups from your accommodation

Morning departure- 07:30am. Return time-12:00pm

Afternoon departure- 1:00pm. Return time- 1:00pm

We also offer the opportunity for your fish to be cooked fresh that day at FISH D’VINE, the local fish and rum bar for the low cost of $5.00
