The Woolshed is a small, truly unique, multi-award winning Backpackers built along the theme of an Aussie Woolshed. Clean, friendly, country style accommodation nestled within a beautiful, tranquil environment and only a 5 minute walk to the beach.
Our rooms are spread over 4 buildings situated on 1 whole acre of lush tropical gardens surrounded by gum trees, palms and a large lawn. Lots of space! Hammocks, sunloungers, free BBQ.
We are located right in the middle of Hervey Bay, 400m from the beach, shops, supermarket, restaurants and 2 of the best pubs in town!

For all bookings:
Please give 2-3 days notice to book. Courtesy pick up from bus station available 7am-7pm by arrangement. Please let us know the arrival time of your bus. in the booking details.

- FREE Pickups from the bus station between 7.00am and 7.00pm by arrangement.
- Now offering FREE internet/wifi.
- 24 Hour check in available on request. Let us know when you make your booking and we will email you our late check in procedure with your booking confirmation.
- We have a ‘user pays’ system for all our rooms with air-con. If you don’t want it, you don’t have to pay for it! Extra cost $5 per/day.
- Cancellation Policy is 48 Hours from 10am on your day of arrival. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to this time will incur a cancellation fee of one night’s stay.
Check-in: 2:00pm - 7:00pm
Check-out: up until 10:00am
