THE HUMMER ADVENTURES - NIGHT TOUR
EXPERIENCE THE RAINFOREST/OUTBACK AT NIGHT IN A HIGH PERFORMANCE,ALL TERRIAN, H1 MILITARY HUMMER,FOLLOWED BY FUN FILLED EVENING OF STAR GAZING AND ROCK WALLABY FEEDING AT GRANITE GORGE.AUSSIE BUSHFIRE DINNER INCLUDED!
About your tour...
Pick up from your accommodation in Cairns City and Northern Beaches from 6.00-6.30pm and transferred to the Hummer site (cattle farm) in Kuranda..
There you will arrive in the rugged untouched bushland and Rainforest on the outskirts of Kuranda and settle under the huge mango tree by themars Camp Fire . Try some BBQ Kangaroo and crocodile Sausages, roast some marshmallows, share stories and enjoy the Aussie outback life with some Billy Tea. Star gaze and explore the skies, including the famous Southern Cross. Then the adventure begins; boarding the almighty American Military H1 Hummer. You are rushed into the Rainforest, crossing the creek while experiencing the strength of this high performance, off road, all terrain vehicle driven by your experienced driver / guide . After the Hummer tour, we then travel through the Tablelands to Granite Gorge. Here we are met by the ever friendly little Wallaby, the smallest species of Kangaroo-Rock Wallaby in Australia. The wallabies are so friendly they will eat out of your hands! (Food is provided.) If you are lucky you may even see the Wallaby mother with a small Joey in her pouch. After this action packed, fun filled evening of off road travelling, star gazing and meeting some of Australia’s unique wildlife we take you back to your accommodation. Your tour finishes around 10.30pm at your accommodation.
Night Tour Itinerary:
6.30pm Hotel pick ups and 30 to 40 minute drive from Cairns to Kuranda.
7.15pm The Tour begins with a camp fire Billy Tea, Marshmellows on skewers, Taste BBQ Crocodile and Kangaroo sausages. Climb aboard your Hummer for a rough and exciting thrill ride at night.
9.15pm Your next stop is Granite Gorge where you will see and feed the smallest species of Kangaroo in Australia – the Rock Wallaby and time to star gaze.
10.30pm Arrive back at your Hotel.
The Night Tour is open from Monday to Friday each week, excluding Public Holidays, Xmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Good Friday. Adult rate $150.Child rate $130 pp .Group rates apply on application.
