This Tour, is for anyone who wants to learn about and see this unique and interesting city. The tour takes in th CBD, Palmer Street, Castle Hll, Jezzine, Strand, Marina, Casino and Port.
Our sight-seeing tour can be selected as an add-on option to our Military Tour products or is available as a stand alone Tour.
When combined with the Military Tours it becomes a comprehensive full day of entertainment and has been designed for people who have limited time in Townsville and want to see and discover as much as they can in the one day.
As a 2.5 hour tour it covers many points to do with Townsville's general history and takes in its best iconic sights
The tour covers the general history of Townsville while taking in its best Iconic Sights which includes:
- CBD
- Palmer Street
- Stops at top of castle hill walk around photo opportunity
- Stops at Jezzine headland Historic sight - walk around photo opportunity
- Stopsat Strand walk section - photo's
- Marina, Casino & Port view & brief
- Return CBD
Departures:
Duration: 2.5 Hours
Runs: Every day except Saturday & Monday
Departs: Tuesday to Friday at 1:45pm and Sunday at 3:30pm
Returns: Approx. 4:15pm or 6pm on Sunday
Pick Up: From CBD Information Centre on Flinders Street
